Day in Seattle

April 9, 2017 by Emily Hutchinson

We love Seattle, Wa. We love the hustle and bustle, the culture, the music, the food and the people. We only live 40 minutes North of Seattle and we go there as much as we can. We spent the day at Pike Place Market and went on The Great Wheel Seattle for the first time. Here are some fun pics of our day!

UP HIGH IN THE GREAT WHEEL in Seattle

He loves his daddy!!!

I loved watching them bond 🙂

Moms turn to snuggle Mikie on the Great Wheel!!!!!!

This picture gets me……Mikie was snuggled up to my face, he ouched his nose to my cheek and I heard him take a really long breath in. He was smelling my face. He just looked so secure and happy. I really try hard too bond with each of my kids alone. So important to all bond together too. Mikie is still young enough the he lets me take hundreds of pictures to post. This memory will forever be in my heart.

Next we HAD to get flowers from Pike Place Market

I don’t edit the photos I take, I do real and natural.

I get excited just thinking about how delicious these cookies are. A little back story, YEARS ago I developed what my family and I consider the best Chocolate chip cookie and I hand wrote it on a 5 x 7 note card and kept it among others in my cupboard. I baked this recipe frequently…

I am such a huge fan of rhubarb. I do like strawberry rhubarb but in my opinion just straight rhubarb is better. I love carrot cake, I love the taste of the flavor packed cinnamon carrot cake paired with the cream cheese frosting. This cake has a buttermilk glaze that makes the carrot cake extra moist. If you’ve never had cake with buttermilk glaze, you’re in for a treat. Its thicker than a sugar syrup but not…
