The BEST version of ourselves

WHAT KIND OF WIFE AM I

So lately I’ve been reflecting a lot on what kind of wife I am and what kind of example I am setting for my family. Trying to come up with a list of all the wonderful things I have done for JUST my husband lately…..guess what…the list is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. The list is filled with mom duties and business.img_97071.

I NEED TO BE THE BEST ME

To be the best wife I can be, I need to pray about it more. I do a great job in praying for other people but……I need to remember to pray for ME! I need to be praying through ,y day, every day! I need to Pray to be a great wife, who is understanding, comforting, and positive. Pray to give the person closest to me, THE BEST VERSION of me!

A PRAYING WIFE img_98631

I need to not just pray for myself, I need to pray for my husband. I need to remember to put my husband before my friends and even before my kids….YEP I said it….PUT MY HUSBAND BEFORE MY KIDS.

Ask him, “How can I pray for you today?” Start praying together and for each other EVERYDAY!!! Hold hands in prayer or put your hand on your Husband as you are praying for him. That physical touch during prayer is so powerful.

img_98711  I don’t want my husband to get what energy I have left, I want to give him the best part of me. I feel like the only way I can do that is if I am faithful in praying and if I am being completely honest with myself. before you judge me….think about who or what gets most of your time and energy…..Wherever your time goes, that’s where your heart is. I want my heart to be with my family and foremost, my husband!
