My childhood dreams came true as this recipe has been perfected. Memories are often lead by taste, the taste of these wreaths brought back memories with my sisters on Christmas. We have been trying every year to find a recipe that tastes just like the good old days, well here it is!
These marshmallow wreaths are so easy and my son Mikie loved making them with me. He added the red hots as soon as I made the wreaths so they stuck. I made my marshmallow wreaths about two inches across which seemed to be the perfect size. If you are looking for a new tradition for Christmas, this one is perfect. The whole family can help.

Marshmallow Holiday wreath treats
- 1/2 cup Salted butter
- 2 big drops green food coloring gel add more food coloring if its not gel
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 4 1/4 cups mini marshmallows or one small bag
- 4 cups corn flakes
- 1 bag cinnamon imperials/ red hots
- On medium temp, heat butter, marshmallows vanilla and almond together until melted. Remove from heat. Quickly add food coloring and keep stirring. Add in corn flakes. Scoop small amounts and tightly bunch the wreaths so they firmly stick together but don't crush the cornflakes. Add three red hots to each wreath. I used plastic gloves so they weren't sticking to my hands.
